Alabama is having its second Economic Impact Study relating to the State’s Green Industry. The first group of the survey's for Nursery and Greenhouse Growers are being mailed this week. Other groups will be mailed out over the next two weeks.

ALNLA partners with BWW on education programs

ALNLA(Auburn, Ala. – May 2008) The Alabama Nursery and Landscape Association (ALNLA) has been working continuously with the Birmingham Water Works (BWW) since the onset of the 2007 drought to minimize the impact of water restrictions on the Birmingham area Green Industry. While the summer of 2007 was difficult for all, this spring brings new hope for outdoor water users.

Our President's Message

This has been a busy and strong summer for the ALNLA.  This past August we had the second annual Auburn Landscape, Greenhouse and Nursery School held at the Auburn University Hotel and Conference Center.

GSHE Growing Strong

The Gulf States Horticultural Expo, held at Mobile’s Arthur R. Outlaw Center January 17-19, celebrated its 10th Anniversary with another sold-out show. The GSHE is hosted jointly each year by the ALNLA, LNLA (Louisiana Nursery & Landscape Association), and MNLA (Mississippi Nursery & Nursery Association) and had more than 3,500 attendees, 435 exhibitors in 700 booths this year. The show again lived up to its billing as the Premier Winter Tradeshow of the South. Visit Gulf States Horticulture Expo
